This guide presents the Traits, Feats, and additional Abilities that your character will acquire whenever they level up. The graphic symbol progression is cleaved down per level to facilitate the tracking of whatever incremental changes that tin can be fabricated. This is to help avert repeatedly jumping through different sections of the Thespian's Handbook or any other published sourcebook every time a character gains an additional level.

Before using this guide, delight take note of any and all applicative feats, racial traits or background bonuses that your character might gain earlier choosing a class during graphic symbol creation. General rules for Clerics:

  • Clerics are not limited to beingness the designated party healers. With the right setup, they can have astonishing mechanical flexibility in and out gainsay.

Character Advancement – Gaining Levels

1st Level Cleric

  • Initial HP = 8 + Constitution (CON) Modifier
  • Armor Proficiency: Low-cal Armor, Medium Armor, Shields
  • Weapon Proficiency: All Unproblematic Weapons
  • Tool Proficiency: None
  • Ane (1) 1d8 Hit Die
  • +2 Proficiency Bonus
  • Proficiency Bonus added to WIS and CHA saving throws
  • Pick of Proficiency Bonus to History, Insight, Medicine, Persuasion, and Religion (Cull two)
  • Three (3) Cantrips from the Cleric spell listing
  • Two (2) 1st level spell slots/access to 1st level Cleric spells
  • Spell Preparation. Only prepared spells tin can be used until the pulley swaps them out with other spells after a long rest. Spells Prepared = Cleric Lvl + WIS Modernistic

second Level Cleric

  • Max HP increase. Add 1d8 + CON Modifier to the current total Max HP
  • I (ane) boosted 1d8 Hit Dice
  • One (ane) boosted 1st level spell slot
  • Channel Divinity 1/long residual (Turn Undead + Divine Domain special channeling ability)

3rd Level Cleric

  • Max HP increase. Add 1d8 + CON Modifier to the current full Max HP
  • One (i) boosted 1d8 Hit Die
  • One (1) boosted 1st level spell slot
  • Two (ii) new 2nd level spell slots/access to 2d level Cleric spells
  • Expanded access to Domain-specific spells

4th Level Cleric

  • Max HP increment. Add together 1d8 + CON Modifier to the current total Max HP
  • One (one) additional 1d8 Hit Die
  • One (1) additional Cantrip from the Cleric spell listing
  • One (one) additional 2nd level spell slot
  • Power Score improvement (boosted 2 points for one ability or 1 point for ii abilities) OR a Feat of your choice

fifth Level Cleric

20th Level Cleric

  • Improved Divine Intervention (automatic success)

Please accept note of all ability score and bonus increases every bit your Cleric gains levels and experience. These changes must be properly reflected on your grapheme sheet to reverberate improvements for character statistics like skills and attack rolls.
